Description

PHOTO ETCHED

Using chemical aid process to etch the design onto brass plate and coloring the design on the surface.
Due to recess depth is shallow, it is suitable for soft enamel.
As the design is etched on the surface, no stamped, so can be used with thinner material – around 0.7mm to save the material cost.
NOTES:
The price for photo etched soft enamel pins will be cheaper than brass stamped soft enamel pins, but will be expensive than iron stamped soft enamel pins.

HOW TO MAKE PHOTO ETCHED ENAMEL PINS?

Compared with other crafts, the production of photo etched badges is simple. First, making the film according to your design and then exposing it. After that, the design on the film will be transferred to the brass plate. Next, make a protection cover on the brass plate to cover the areas which do not need to be etched and graphics that need to be hollowed out are corroded with chemicals. Then running in process of coloring, grinding, polishing, punching, soldering, plating and other processes, a photo etched badge is completed.
